A. buildings in the south. In Jacksonville, Fla,, one matv Mr. IV. Cummer, subecrloed $30,000, and $80,000 has already been pledged by elglitoo'n men. Jacksonville will continue the campaign until about $150,000 la pledged. The small but thoroughly up-to- date city ol aoutu Georgia, Wavcross, has already raised $50,000 for a modem M. C. The hotel park property was accep ted yesterday by the Treasury 'Depart ment at Washington as the alte of the Fedoral building to be erected In Americus, and It la now confldenUy expected that building operations will be entered upon within the next few weeks.
