Atlanta, June fl.—A freight trackage

road places the Seaboard Air Line in a
position where it can compete with the
Southern and the Central on all busi
ness to snth from Savannah. It also
gives the Georgia railroad a link for Its
trafllc.

Atlanta and Savannah, the Seaboard
wl|l be able to send all traffic from
Birmingham into Savannah. The im
portant connections at Birmingham for
the West that are controlled bv the
Seaboard Air Line for the southwest
will be routed direct Into Savannah.

who 1s sentenced to be hanged on June
M, for tho murder of a farmer named
