Amerleus' new artesian well Is go
ing to cost the city a pretty penny,
but a flowing well will be worth the
expense Incurred should the contrac
tors finally strike a bold stream. This
latest well was begun several months
ago and Is now down a depth
more than one thusand feet. Many
obstacles have been encountered, but
these have In time been overcome
and the boring continued. It Is said
that the well has cost the city
ready something like nine thousand
dollars, and this expense bill may be
considerably Increased ere a flow
ing stream of sufficient capacity
encountered. Several small streams
have been penetrated and passed by,
the flow of water not being deemed
sufficient.

Most Amerleus people work every
day in some strained, unnatural po
sltion—bending constantly over
desk—riding on Jolting wagons o
cars—doing ,laborous housework
lifting, reaching or pulling, or trying
the back in a hundred and one other
ways. All these strains tend to wear,
weaken and Injure the kidneys until
they fall behind in their work of filt
ering the poisons from the blood.
Doan's Kidney Pills cure sick kid

Mrs. W. S. Marshall, R. F. D. No. 1,
Dawson, Ga., writes: “My husband’s
back and hips were so stiff and sore
that he could not get up from a chair
without help. I got a box of Doan’s
Kidney Pills for him at Dodson’s
Pharmacy, at Amerleus, and after tak
ing the pills he felt relief In three
days. One box entirely cured him."
