H. Harrlman a month ago, with the agreement that the stock of the road was to be delivered in February. It Is understood that Harrlman has already made a sub stantial advance on the purchase fig ure, which believed - to be a con siderable advance on the figures which Messrs. Perry and Thorne ob tained it. Their purchase price was $3,600,000 for the 85,000,000 capital stock. Considerable speculation Is in dulged In as to the outcome Fish secures control of the Illinois Central, with which the Central Georgia Is supposed to work out Birmingham If the latter road Is un der the control of Harrlman. The Central of Georgia will in any event be operated os a separate corporation, In case Fish beats Harrlman for the I. C., the Central of Georgia could no doubt be sold profitably. At the time It was bought by Harrlman it Is said that The Rock Island and the Hew York, New Haven & Hart ford road were also bidders for the property. of This Is Worth Remembering As no one (s Immune, every person should remember that Foley's Kidney Cure will cure any case of kidney or bladder trouble that is not beyond the reach of medicine.
