An increase of more than 20 per cent was made In the Amerlcus post- office receipts for the month of Nov ember, as compared with the same month last year. The receipts for the past month were $1,645.92 and for the same month of 1906, the re ceipts were $1,364.67. These figures tell in unmistakable terms the growth of the city and Its business Interests. The increase In the number of citizens finds sure reflection In the increase In the vol ume of postoffice business. With one or two exceptions, due to outside causes, the receipts for the months of 1907, have shown a fine increase over those for the same per iods of the year before. When the calendar year ends on Dec. 31, the total income of the Amerlcus office will probably be from 20 to 25 per cent above the Income for the year 1906. The steady growth which the busi ness of the local postoffice has en joyed is much more convincing than an occasional Jump would be, and Indicates that the Increases are of the permanent variety. Keep the kidneys well and they will keep you well. Doan’s Kidney Pills cure sick kidneys and keep them well. J. C. Culpepper, of State street, a a corpenter and one of the best known residents of Albany, Ga., has tested Doan’s Kidney Pills to his en tire satisfaction and speaks of them as follows: "Yes, they certainly did me a lot of good. I used them for backache and urinary troubles from which I had been suffering for years. I had a constant dull pain across my loins, so very severe at times as to completely lay me up. It was very bad a tnlght I could not rest well in any position. I would wake up at night and fell as though my back was coming apart I was hardly able to turn over In bed. The kidney secre tions were very dark and contained a sediment. The action of the kidneys waa altogether too free and passages were accompanied with a scalding sensation. This bothered me a great deal during the day and often at night I was called out of bed several times, but until I obtained a box of Doan's Kidney Pills I found nothing that helped me much. They did the work quickly and since using them I have not had the backache. The urine has regained the natural color and con tains no sediment I feel first rate.' Both health and disease \»me “it a breath of air.” Dust laden with the germs of con sumption or other disease is Inhaled on every street, but disease does not develop unless the germs find condi tions suitable for growth. In tbe catarrhal condition there Is an idea) culture medium for these germs, as the weakened tissues are like a hotbed where the germs thrive and multiply until dangerously ac tive. If you have catarrh, use the easiest, simplest and quickest cure, the di rect method of Hyomel, whose won derful medicated air destroys germs and makes catarrh and germ Infec tion impossible. You do not risk a cent In testing Hyomei's healing virtues, for with every $1.00 outfit Dodson’s Pharmacy gives a guarantee to refund the money If It falls to cure. 10-12-17 Tho Senate wilt require- at least until Christmas to recover from the shock Foraker gave It by appearing In a sack coat.—New York American.
