Dry Goods, Clothing, Shoes and Carpets
Mercilessly Sacrificed
After thirty-one years of hard work and close confinement in the general dry goods and clothing business I have grown weary of the never ceasing work day and night and the many
head-whitening details.
With a view of placing my business on specialty lines, which will mean the cutting out of several departments and eliminating many of the petty, annoying details, tighten up my
f work and enable me to devote more of my time to other interests, I have decided that in order to accomplish this object in the quickest way possible,to offer MY ENTIRE STOCK
at the most merciless sacrifice, RIGHT NOW WHILE THE SEASON IS AT ITS HEIGHT. Most of y° u remember the dissolution sale of Wheatley & Ansley
four years ago when we almost gave away the goods. We tell you no a , and we mean every word we say, that the offerings we shall make now will eclipse that many times over.
You will readily understand that a stock of this magnitude cannot ordinarily be closed out in a short time except at a great loss, hence in order to obtain the best results and make the
shortest work of it possible we shall accept our losses gracefully, and name prices so ridiculously low that this whole country will aid in the quick work of cleaning it out with the greatest
dispatch. - •
It will be impossible for us to go through and quote prices on every item in this big stock so we simply say to you that we only give you a general idea of what your dollars will do
and then urge upon you the importance of coming at the earliest moment and availing yourself of the money saving it means to you. The Stock MUST and WILL BE
SOLD if prices will move it. '
Clothing Mercilessly Sacrificed
t There are a hundred times as many men in this country to-
vdsy who are able to buy clothes for $5.00 to $10.00 per suit as there
are who can afford to pay $35.00 to $50.00 a suit. These Same men'
today are either in need of clo hes or are going to'need them and j
yet they have probably come to the conclusion that they will not
be able to buy this winter on account of the stringency of the
times and the general scarcity of cash. To meet these conditions
we say to you that we are going to sell this clothing stock at the
greatest reductions that were ever known for first-class, desirable,
well made clothes We have not only the largest but the best
stock clothing in this part of the state and the sole agency of
some of the best manufacturers in America.
Read these prices then come and see for yourself that we
mean business.
