Incendiaries Sunday night burned
the large barn and stockade on the,
plantation of Mr. J. F. Kelley, near
Cobb,'east of Americus, entailing a
heavy loss. When tiie flames were
discovered the stockade was almost
enveloped and oniy with difficulty
was the twenty or more line mules

rooms and fell like a gentle benlson
upon the ears of those present.

family of the groom, the marriage
was very quiet, only relatives and a
few intimate friends witnessing It.
The fair young bride Is a lovely girl

Mr. Fleming is a young man of fine
business ability, and of a bright, gen
ial nature. He is a member of the
Times-Recorder force and during his
residence of two years in Americus
has won hosts of friends who will
cordially wish for him and his bonny
bride a life of sunshine and happi

Failing in this, Capt Cobb suggest
ed that the next best plan would be
to ask Congress for permission to
put the monument near the north
eastern corner of the present capltol
grounds at Washington, as it was In
