Anicrlcus will be the Mecca for the
represoutative fanners of the entire
Third Congressional district early in
the next month, when a campaign
education and Information upon gener
al topics agricultural will be conduct
ed hero by representative speakers
from the State College at Athens.
February 10th, 11th and 12th
the dates already selected.
The speakers thus assigned to this
campaign in the interest of agricul
ture will spend three days in each
congressional district.
Amcricus, quite naturally, "has been
selected as the place of meeting in the
Third district, and the farmers and
business men generally from all of the
fifteen counties will be invited to come
here on those dates.
Mr. R. L. Nixon, representing the
Agricultural College at Athens, was
In Anu-ricus yesterday In consultation
with citizens of both town and county
regarding the proposed meeting. Feb
ruary 10th, 11th and 12th were sug
gested as suitable dates, and the meet
Ing will be held accordingly.
A committee composed of Messrs. J.
M. Collum, John A. Cobb, M. B. Coun
cil and Crawford Wheatley was ap
pointed to arrange details at this end
of the line.
The addresses will probably be de
livered in the auditorium of the Agri
cultural College here.
Besides the six speakers who will
represent the State Agricultural Col
lege, It is expected that Prof. J. M,
Pound, state superintendent of educa
tion, and Hon. T. G. Hudson, state
commissioner of agriculture, will de
liver addresses to the farmers during
the session of three days.
Mrs. Walter B. Hill, quite likely, will
discuss topics of Interest as relating to
the farm home.
Amerlcus is fortunate In being se
lected as the meeting place of this
educational convention, and every
farmer and business man in the coun
ty should nttend.

constitutional treatment. Hall's Ca
tarrh Cure Is taken Internally, acting
directly upon the blood and mucous
surfaces of the Bystem, thereby de
stroying the foundation of the disease,
and giving the patient strength by
building up the constitution and as
sisting nature In doing its work. The

Baby’s coming will be a time of rejoicing, and not of ap
prehension and fear. If Mother’s Friend is used by the expec
tant mother in preparation of the event. This is not a medi
cine to be taken internally, but a liniment to be applied to the
body, to assist nature in the necessary physical changes of tho system. Moth
er’s Friend is composed of oils and medicines which prepare the muscles and
tendons for the unusual strain, render tho ligaments supple and elastic, aids in
tho expanding of the skin and flesh fibres, and strengthens all the membranes
and tissues. It lessens the pain and danger at the crisis, and assures future
health to the mother. Mother's Friend is sold at drug stores. Write for our
free book, containing valuable information for expectant Mothers.

care is exercised iu the selection of

care given the work hero. Under these
conditions the city will readily show a
population exceedingly 12,000.
But a most important question aris
es right there.

mation, so far as known, has been giv
en out here regarding supervisors and
enumerators.

tion, an allowance of not less than 1
