Cordele, Ga., Jan. 28.—At 7 o'clock

of a mile wide, passed over the west'
era portion of Cordele.
Before reaching this city from the
southwest, the storm sweept down on
the plantation of Dr. Warren Wil

tended by unusual roaring, the cy
clone then leaped entirely over this
city and fell again on the plantation

The cyclone reached its severest
proportions on plantation of Colonel
Gower, wher it cut a swath half
mile wide, not lenvlng a tree or house

Many persons along the path of the
storm received severe injuries. On
the farm of Dr. Williams a negro was
severely bruised by a piece of flying

time the storm struck It, was con
fined.
The storm picked the woman up,
with her bed, and carried them some
distance, leaving her uninjured.
Two of the most peculiar features
of the storm happened on the plan
tation of I. M. Powell, where a house
was blown several yards from its
foundation and was badly demolish
ed, thirteen occupants in house at the
time the storm struck It, escaping with
but few injuries.

Americas Women Are Finding Relief
at Last
It does seem that women have
more than a fair share of the ache*
and pains that afflict humanity; they
must "keep up," must attend to du
ties in spite of lonstantly aching
backs, or headaches, dizzy
spells, bearing-down pains; they must
stoop over, when to stoop means tor
ture. They mucst walk and bond
and work while suffering from
kidney Ills. Kidneys cause
more suffering than any other organ
of the body. Keep the kidneys well
and health Is easily maintained. Read
of a remedy for kidneys only that
helps and cures the kldueys and la
endorsed by people you know.
Mrs. I. M. Cobb, 809 Forsyth street,
Amerlcus, Ga., says: "I was subject
to headaches and palna thrt>U(h tho
small of my back for some time and
often went for days without getting
relief, t was finally adviacd to try
Doan’s Kidney Pills and procured a
box at Dodson's Pharmacy. The re
sults of their use were so gratifying
that I procured another box and alnco
that I felt a great deal better. Doan's
Kidney Pills removed the palm In my
back and my kldneya are now much,
stronger. I shall continue taking this I
remedy and have no hesitation In rec-J
