DEATH OF JEFF GAMJLIGE
DIE TO NATURAL CAUSES
Aged Veteran Is Fonnd Dead Alter
Several Days.
Tho death ot Air. Jefferson' Gam-
mage. 63 year* old and a Confederate
veteran, was due to natural causes,
according to tbe verdiet of the cor-
onor’a Jury investigating the case.
Mr Gam mage lived alone and was
■uppoeed to have been dead a day or
two, perhap*. longer, when the (act
waa discovered.

Macon, Ga., April 16.—A bill in
equity, asking for an injunction to re
strain the Amerlcus Manufacturing
Company, a corporation of Georgia,
from cutting timber from 20,000 acres
ot land in South* Georgia, waa filed In
the United States court here by R. J.
Nelson, of Chicago, through a local le
gal firm.
Both partlea to the contention claim

named. The property Is located In
several counties. ,
Litigation haa been anticipated In
connection with tkw matter (or sev
eral yean. Nelson Is a well known
^mberman of Chicago, and baa had
more or less to do with Georgia saw-
mining toy a number of years. He is
the reputed owner of a large tract ot
desirable timber land.
