The bill thus cutting out a hundred or two acres ot "corner lots” and horse lots is being framed up and wll be put before the legislature at the session in June. As everybody knows, the elongated limits of Amerlcus includes about 5,- 000 acres planted in swamps, cotton corn and other farm products, not generally grown In a real city. It also includes a hill forming a part of two important county roads—a bii that the city cannot tackle. With this elevated territory the property of the county, these two roads leading Into Amerlcus will be completed In their entirety. The new limits on th ewestera side, as described in the bill, go only to the Central railway right-of-way, and to the Seaboard right-of-way on the south side. This will throw the race track, bridge over Muclulee creek and Magnolia Dell outside of the city limits and Into the county. Many advantages will accrue through the change of limits, the only objection possible being the fact that the dell will be without the lines of pollcs jurisdiction. Some women won't be bappy In heaven unless then can clean house twice a year.
