Such a highway woold be one of the best advertised in the United States and with proper co-operation on the part of a few counties could be easily had in operation for the fall and winter season of 1911-12. From Atlanta to Macon there would be but little to be done to get a good highway. From Macon down to Americus this year will find a fine highway with the exception of a few short stretches that could easily be welded into the magnificent highway if public interest wore suffic iently awakened. From Americus to Albany another year will see as good a road as any autcist could wish. From Albany on to Thomasvills the goad roads spirit is running high. South of Thomasville to Tallahassee is but m ate and distinct as outlined in o ir constitution, and they should remain free from political bartering.
