’7* THE AMEKICUS WEEKLY TIMES-RECORDER. THURSDAY. AMrar a. wo Q Q O CURES 0, 0. 0, RHEUMATISM The cause of Rheumatism is an excess of uric acid in the blood. The TOtic impurity gets into the circulation by absorption, usually because of ccr.- Btipation, weak kidneys, and other systemic irregularities. Then the blood be comes weak and sour and irritating urate particles are formed in this vital fluid. When in this impure condition the blood can not furnish the necessary amount of nourishment to the different muscles, tendons, nerves and ligaments of the body, instead it constantly steeps them in the briny acrid matter, and the gntty, urate particles collect in the joints, which causes the pains, aches and soreness of Rheumatism. Liniments, plasters, etc. may relieve the acute pain of an attack of Rheumatism, but such treatment does not reach the blood and therefore can have no permanent good effect. There is but one way to cure Rheumatism and that is to purify the blood of the acid poison. S. S. S. goes into the circulation and attacks the disease at its head. It removes the cause for the reason that it is the greatest of all blood purifiers. It filters out every trace of the sour, in flammatory matter, cools the acid-heated circulation, adds richness and nourish ment to the blood and permanently cures Rheumatism. S. S. S. does not paten up, it cures permanently. S. S. S. is especially valuable as a remedy for Rheuma tism because it does not contain a particle of harmful mineral in any form. I- is purely vegetable, a fine tonic as well as blood purifier. Book on Rheumatism lent free to all who write, THE SWIFT SPECIFIC CO., ATLANTA, Qau PRISONERS IN JAIL TO BE TRIED A! With eighteen or twenty negro pris oners crowding the 'county Jail here, judge Littlejohn will convene Sumtf r ‘Superior court in special session next week for the purpose of quickly dis posing of these cases, rather thau al low the prisoners to remain there un til December. The regular term of court does not convene for mure than three months lyet, and it will be a hardship upon the prisoners, as well as an unnec essary expense to the county to than hold them until December. Judge Littlejohn announces, there fore, that he will convene a special session next Monday, 29th, for the trial of these jailbirds. There are eighteen felony prisoners held here, five or six of them upon murder charges. This is a most un usual number of criminals to be cag ed at one time, and with others to be added in the interim, the capacity ot the jail might be taxed ere court con venes in December. Judge Littlejohn would have called this special session even earlier, hit for the fact that it Would have con flicted with the recent special term of City court. DEATH OE MRS.
