THE SCYTHE OF DEATH STRIKES DOWN THREE Aged Citizens of J uniter Pass Away. , The funeral of Dr. Amoe Wiggins, wib died on Sunday in Savannah, was conducted Monday morning at Oak- grove cemetery by Rev. Robert I* Biv ins. Dr. Wiggins was for many years a resident of Sumter, but during tho past few years -baa resided in Savan- xh. ■ • He was a brother of Mrs. B. J. Lar kin. of this city, and also related u, Mr*. Charles Lingo, besides having other relatives in Sumter. Death of D. J. Lnrkin. Mr. B. J. Larkin, a former resident of Americus, passed away Monday morning at bis tome In Atlanta, where -with Mrs. Larkin be has resided re cently. He was perhaps sixty years of age, and -was for a long number of years a resident of this city. Thu funeral took plica here at 2:30 o’clock Tuesday afternoon. Dratb of John Finch. Mr. John Finch, a well known far mer of the connty, residing east of Americus, died suddenly at his home Sunday morning from an Illness re sembling acute indigestion. He was In tto city all day Saturday and ap peared In his usual robust health Mr. Finch was probably 60 years of age, and bod long been a respected resident of Sumter, His wifi, with several sons end daughters, survive Nm.
