In Georgia.
We have the mammoth midway with
something like slaty-five shows, eve
one of whloh is a nice, clean show, for
any lady can visit any of them with
propriety. Many amusements have
been specially features for the people'/
delight.
Mr. Harry. C. Robert, as secretary,
has worked hard and with a great deal
of energy tn getting one of the flri-
eat live stock exhibits ever seen in
the Southern states, and V -Shs dri

Arrangements have been made
whereby the 101 Ranch Wild Real
Show, with its mammoth aggregation
of SOO people, 100 Indians and 250
bones, and also Wright Bros,, with
tbelr Hying machines, will be there.
Then'next comes Pain’s fireworks,
and especially the Battle in tl;
Clouds, a production that costs 11,000
per night to show It. These attrac

All Amendments Probably
Carried, v*
(Special to Times-Recorder.)
Atlanta, Ga.. October 5.—The vote
In tbe regular state election today has
given no reason for even the most
timorous to fear an overthrow of the
regular democratic nominees, follow
ing this insurrection led by Thomas
Watson and the general dlstrlbutlja
of tickets bearing the name of Joseph
M. Brown at their head.
In the various city wards a few votes
were cast for Governor Brown, but not
ten per cent of the total and from
the various counties came telegrams
stating that tbe voters were standing
by the party nominees.
It was early evident that the oppo
sition would 1 not carry a precinct
the state.
The voting was unusually heavy for
an uncontested election..
Indications are that the three con
stitutional amendments have carried
without difficulty.
Brown ballots were on hand at all
of the city polls, but few were called
for and the sAme seems to he true In
most of the counties of the state, ac
cording to dispatches received here.

there are men who are more powerful
