The annual meeting of the Woman! Missionary Union of the Friendship Baptist Association will be held with the Woman's Missionary Society of Ellaville this week, beginning Tues. iday night and continuing through Wednesday. Mrs. R. L. Bivins, of Americus, who has been the efficient president of this union for a number of years, has ar ranged a splendid program in which prominent workers from this and ottier sections will take part The missionary sermon of the ses sion will be preached on Wednesday night by Dr. L. R. Christie, of Co lumbus, and will be a rare treat to those wiho attend. It is expected that Miss Emma Amos, of Atlanta, state secretary, will address the meeting, together with Miss Morris, of Forsyth, and Miss Tweedy, of Dawson. Both Americus churches will ho largely represented and a splendid session of the union is anticipated. The ofllcers of the union are Mrs. R. L. Bivins, of Americus, superin tendent, and Mrs. W. B. Worthy, sec retary.
