ATLANTA, Ga., June 24.—For

directors of the Naval Consulting
Board of the United States, has
ceived a telegram from Howard F. Cof
fin, chairman of the board, directing
him to complete at once the industrial
preparedness survey of the state of
rgia, which is vitally needed by the
war and navy departments on account
of the situation in Mexico.
The industrial prer*redness commit
tee of the Naval Consulting Board is
an organization embracing the five en
gineering societies of the United
States, and the information which they
are gathering is paid for at their own
expense as a patriotic contribution to
e service of the country.
