London, Feb 23.-The burial of Mar
tial Gourdin, tbe Anaitchist who was
killed by the premature explosion of one
of his own bombs near Greenwich ob
servatory on the night of February 15,
took place this afternoon. The hearse
started for the place w’here the body haa
been lying in St. Pancreaa at 1:35 p.
in. Only one carriage followed the
hearse. Large numbers followed, some
in expectancy of witnessing an interest
ing Anarchist demonstration and others

emergency. There was no sign of dte

thereafter protected the street from
further invasion.
