Miss Lillie Barnett will entertain the
Floral Club, at her home at Raytown,
Saturday afternoon. An interesting

An ice-cream festival, for the benefit
of the Woman’s Missionary Society,
will be given on the night of the 30th
instant, at Baytown, at the Flynt
house, to which the public is cordially
invited.
Mrs. Unruh, of Oregon, who is on a
lecture tour through Georgia in the in
terests of the W. C. T. U., gave a fine
talk to an interested audience on Friday
evening. Mrs. Sibloy, of Union Point,
president of the W- C. T. U., ccompa
nied her. They organized a Union
while here. Mrs. Sibley will leave in a
short time for Switzerland, where she
goes as a delegate to the International
Convention.

1 ’he school at this place closed yester
day and Miss Ethel Ellington left imme
diately for her home at Robinson. She is
an excellent leader, although it is her
initial term at teaching. She also made a
host of friends during her stay with us,
and all regretted to see her leave.
