Mr. Arod Moore and family have
moved back to Emanuel county.
Mr. L. S. Jackson is considering the
matter of again renting his hotel.

Miss Mary Belle Holliday was in town
shopping Monday and Tuesday.
Mrs. L. A. Moore and Miss Flora Si
bert were here on a shopping tour Mon¬
day.
Mrs. L. R. Brown, who has very ill, is
much improved at this writing.

to his room.
Mr, A. D, Moore is able to he out
again, after a spell of sickness.
Everybody is invited to attend prayer
meeting Friday evening at the Metho¬
dist church.

Mr.and Mrs. A. S. Barnett and Miss

Mr. and Airs. F. P. Brown, after
spending the summer in our city, have
returned to their homo in Atlanta.
Mrs. Sarah Keating, of Atlanta, was
among relatives here last week. Mrs.
Keating is looking in latter days.
Mr. G. T. Moore succeeded in killing
the chills by shaving. bathing, and put

Mr. Bud Brown has accented a posi

Mr. Jack Keally has severed his con¬
nection with Mr. John O’Keeffe, and
left for Florida where ho will make his
future home.
It is announced that early in Novem¬
ber, Mr. W. M. Kendrick and'Miss Rosa
Lee Stone will he joined in the holy
oonds of matrimony.
The Masonic Oyster supper, which
was to have taken place on last .Friday
evening, the 21st, will he postponed to a
later day.
Mr. L. A. Towers has accepted a posi¬
tion at the rock quarry, near Marietta.
While here lie made many friends and
all wish him well in his new home.
While eating peanuts, little Elizabeth
Brown had something to lodge in her
