Stephens High School Notes.
We have only five more weeks before
Christmas to attend school. j
Our music pupils can now be easily
distinguished from other people byaj
beautiful bow, made of red, white and j
blue ribbon. |
This fail lias been one of the prettiest
that we have ever seen, for all kinds of
work and, especially’, has it been nice
weather for attending school.
The beautiful blue sky aboye us; the
glorious sunshine around us: and the
sweet-singing birds flying over our
beads—all tell us that. God is love.
Now is the time for us to learn, while
we are young, and if we study and
improve our minds, we will never re¬
gret having done so.
An opportunity lost is gone forever.
Strine to improve each one as they pass
by
The many friends of Aliss Davis will
be pleased to learn that she is again at
her post of duty, after an absence of
two weeks. While she was away Aliss
Gertrude Holden had charge of the In
1 31 mediate Department, and worked
faithfully for her pupils. We appro,
dated her services very much.
