Snow began falling very fast Saturday,
and the children weie very happy, but
their joy was short lived, tor the snow
soon soon stopped falling.
Our Sunday school lessons for this
quarter are very interesting. The Apos¬
tle John liv^d and walked with Jesus for
several years and he saw Christ's loving,
tender caie oyer suffering humanity.
The mail now reaches this community
shortly after 9 o’clock a. m. Our carrier,
Mr. Felix Chapman, makes a splendid
cfflcial. lie is kind, polite and the people
are always glad to see him coming with
the mail.
Although our wintry days are some¬
times dark and dreary. Yet, very often

sunshine to brighten our pathway. Rain,
sunshine, sleet, suow and everything else
combined, make our crops.
Encourage your teacher. Speak good
and cheering words to her and nothing
will be lost. Encourage your children to
go to school; try to impress upon their
young hearts the great importance of
learning.
A friend who will desert you in hours
of great anguish and when sore tempta¬
tion flood upon you, is not a true friend,
but a false one. A true friend will love
and sympathize always. It is a great
blessing to have true frienns.
The patrons ot the school met at the
school house last week and prepared some
wood for the use of the teacher and
pupils. This was a thoughtful act on the
part of the patrons, as a cold school room
is very disagreeable..
We all ha v e temptations, but it seems
the nearer we try to liyo for Christ, the
harder the tempter uses his power, but
Christ will keep His children from all

t f Christ, it makes us more wiliing to
hear our temptations and lean upon the
strong arm of our blessed Saviour,

Every
Two Minutes
§ Physicians te»!l us that all
the blood in a healthy
human body passes through
the heart once in every two
minutes. If this action be¬
comes irregular the whole
body suffers. Poor health
follows poor blood ; Scott’s
Emulsion makes the blood
pure. One reason why
SCOTT’S
EMULSION
is such a great aid is because
it passes so quickly into
the blood. It is partly di¬
gested before it enters the
stomach; a double advan¬
tage in this. Less work
for the stomach; quicker
and more direct benefits.
To get the greatest amount
of good with the least pos¬
sible effort is the desire of
everyone in poor health.
Scott’s Emulsion does just
that. A change for the
better takes place even be¬
fore you expect it.
We will send you a
