After a very successful years’
work, the teachers and pupils of
Stephens High school are now
enjoying their much deserved
vacation.
The teachers will mail out
their report cards as early as
they can get them made. There
considerable work to be done
in up aver¬
ages and promotions.
We are glad to announce that
there are but very few pupils
who did not make promotion
marks. Yet, there are a few
pupils, who were irregular in at¬
tendance, from the loss of time
and work, have failed to be pro¬
moted. If the pupils, whose
cards urn not marked “promo
bid,” will make up their lost
work during vacation, they will
be given an entrance examina¬
tion at the beginning of the fall
term. Hence, an opportunity
will be presented to go on with
their regular grade, provided the
deficiencies are made up. The
honor roll will appear in this
paper a little later.
As soon as practicable, I will
hand the annual report to the
Board of Directors; also an item¬
ized statement of the proceeds
taken in during the year from
various entertainments, together
! with the funds taken in on the
| evenings of Monday and Wed

We extend our most sincere
thanks to our pupils, patrons
and friends for their co opera¬

We are sure such interest will

others than those for whom we
are laboring directly, who tire
