An 'interesting meeting of the W. C.
T. U. was held Monday afternoon at the
residence of Mrs. H. M. Holden, with
the president, Mrs. A. G. Beazley, presi¬
ding.
Mrs. Oscar Chapman,chairman ot com
mittee on Sunday observances, and one
of the most zealous workeis in the W. C.
T. U., Las met with much success
iu her work, and we hope ere many
weeks have passed that the post-office
will be closed ou the Lord’s nay. We
ask that each patron of the suffice think
seriously over the matter and we feel as¬
sured that they will tealize that the open¬
ing of the mail on Sunday is unnecessary.
The members of the W. C. T. U are
requested to pay their dues to Airs, J. A

were introduced and beauiiful music,
vocal and initrumental was sweetly ren¬
