NERVOUS PROSTRATION
CURED BY PE-RU-NA.
Mr. Hal. P. Denton, Chief Department
Publicity and Promotion of National
Export Exposition, writes:
Philadelphia, Dec. 20,1899.
The Peruna Medicine Co., Columbus, O.
Gentlemen:—“ Toward the latter part
of August I found myself in a very
much run-down condition. I suffered
particularly from catarrh of the stomach,
aggravated no doubt by the responsibil¬
ities and worriment incident to the ex¬
ploitation of a great international expo¬
sition. What I ate distressed me and I
would lie awake at night ‘threshing
over,’ if I may use that expression, the
affairs of the previous day.
“My family physician said / had
nervous prostration and recommended
a sea voyage. I gradually grew worse.
A kind friend whom I had known in
Ohio recommended Peruna. Though
skeptical, I finally yielded to his ad•
vice. After using one bottle / was
much improved and with the fifth
bottle came complete recovery, i am
in perfect health to-day and owe every ®
thing to Peruna. ” *

Reward will be paid to any
person who can find one atom
of opium, chloral, morphine,
cocaine, ether or chloroform
in any form in any of Dr.
Miles’ Remedies.
This reward is offered because
certain unscrupulous persons
make false statements about
these remedies. It is under¬
stood that this reward applies
only to goods purchased in the
open market, which have not
been tampered with in any way.
Dr. Miles’ remedies cure by
their soothing, nourishing,
strengthening and invigorat¬
ing effects upon the nervous
system, and not by paralyzing
and weakening the nerves as
would be the case if these drugs
were used.
For this reason Dr. Miles'
Anti-Pain Pills are universally
considered the best pain remedy
“I have suffered for 23 years with
severe back, pains have in my head, heart and
and tried everything I
could get and could not find any relief
until I got a box of Dr. Miles’ Anti
Tain Pills. 1 suffered as long as 12
hours at a time with such severe
pains that I feared I would lose my
mind. The Anti-Pain Pills gave me
relief in from 10 to 20 minutes. I do
not have to use Morphine any more.
I wish you would publish this so that
other sufferers may find relief.”

We, the grand jurors,selected,
chosen and sworn for the August
term, 1605. of Taliaferro Supe-
rior court beg leave to make the
following general presentments:
Through proper committees,
from our body, we find the jail
in fair condition, except in need
of the replacing of some lights.
We find the court house in
good condition, except the port¬
ico on south side needing some
repairs.
We find the roads in fairly
good condition and we are of the
opinion that if tho public will
only give the County Commis¬
sioners time, there will be very
little room for complaint. We
feel like they have made good
progress already in bettering
the condition of the public high
ways. However, we would make
the following suggestions:
That all loose rock be removed
from the road bed, where
pulled in by the,* road machine.
Also, that they employ a repair
gang of three or four hands to
keep the roads repaired where
washed by heavy rains ; also,
complaints are made to t his body
as to the improper feeding and
watering of the road stock. We
recommend that this complaint
be remedied at once; that the
foreman of the gang be held re¬
sponsible for the that proper they care of
said stock ; be fed
twice per day upon grain and
watered at least three times- per
day (including Sundays.) We
also M recommend more and better
work be put upon hills and bad
places in the roads and less work
