Death of Mrs. S. 1*. Chapman.
After a lingering illness of
several mouths Mrs. S. P. Chap¬
man died last Sunday night at her
home in this place.
In the early part of last fall
Mrs. Chapman had an attack of
pneumonia. She had never ful¬
ly recovered from this, and suf¬
fered continually till the time of
her death.
Mrs. Cliapmau’s maiden name
was Miss Leila Luuceford. She
was a daughter of Mr. A S.
Lunceford.
On Nov. 28, 1900, she was
married to Mr. S. P. Chapman
and her married life was a hap¬
py one. She leaves her husdand
and a little son about three years
old besides her father and mother
and brothers and sisters and ma¬
ny friends who mourn her death,
Taken away from her husband
just as they had passed the fifth
mile stone on the highway of
their married life, and from her
little son just as she had begun
to train his footsteps into child¬
hoods joyous way, her death is
indeed a loss to them.
VVe extend our deepest sympa¬
thies to the bereaved ones,
