We have it on good authority
that the B. V. & E. railroad will
be completed to Columbus at an

the road will be extended and con¬

Our road will then become an im¬

and West. This is not mere rumor.

K. C. MEADOWS, PRESIDING.
Saturday, Nov. 6.—Total number
of cases 31. There were eight suits
brought by the B. V. & E. railroad
on subscription notes; in four of
these there was no defense and
judgment was rendered in favor of
the road; two cases were contested
and continued, A lawyer states
tjiat there “will be some lively liti¬
gation” over these suits. The main
point of defense Is, we believe, that
the B. V. & E. railroad is not a
legally chartered company.

his perfidy.
