The Farmers Alliance.
j he Alliance is the best organ¬

working classes. Its usefulness is

which It has about whipped, and
indeed we believe that before an¬

The Alliance has put itself on
record as being opposed to monop¬
olies of all kinds. Its principles
are founded on truth, and it
teaches justice to all. Jl rightly
carried out the principles it seeks
establish will free our country
from the powerful greed of those
human sharks who seek to desooil
ic people and appropriate the
immense wealth of the copntiy
to their own selfishness. Non
political the Alliance seeks the
welfare of all who are willing to
act as men should act. It aims to
educate all in the ways of econo¬
my, truth and justice, teaching its
members that all men are equal in
the sight of God and should be so
in the sight oi men: that we are
all brethren, and that an injury to
one is the concern of all.
Let all good men bid the Alli¬
ance God-speed,.for by it the hon¬
est sons of toil are raised from the
condition islaves to that free

made to understand that there is

believes in the education of the
p ople. It believes in the settling
of disputes among brethren bv a
feeling of justiee rather than by ;
the law of the land. It believes

\Ve learn that the proposed
railroad from Long Swamp to
Dablqncga likely to lie built.
Tha route has been located and is
a practicable one, with no deep
cuts, trestle or bridges on the en¬
tire line that will amount to any¬
thing. We don’t know the exact
distance, but we are satisfied that
the cost of building the road will be
comparatively small. This ^section
needs at outlet in that direction,
and it needs competition, which it
would get to some fig tent if this
road should be built. At any
rate our people should feel an inter¬
est in th)y enterprise.

All persons who arg indebted to
me, either by note or account,
must make prompt settlement. ' I
have been practicing medicine at
this place nearly ten years. I have
never sued a man since 1 have
been in the county. 1 have gener¬
a j ly given the people their own
time about making settlements,
But in the course of human
events the time has come that I
am obliged to have what is due me.
I have sold my property at this
place and will east my lot among
other people, and in order to meet
my obligations in purchasing an
Other home and business 1 will be
compelled to collect all that is due
me.
Now if you owe me anything
come right along and make settle¬
ment at once, or you will have to
pay the cost of collection. Parties
whose notes 1 hold for borrowed
money must make prompt payment
as their notes fall due, and those
whose notes are due must pay
them at once or they will have to
pay attorney’s fees and cost of col¬
lection.
Look out now, all who don’t pay
what they owe me by the 15th of
December will find their notes and
accounts in the hands of the of-
fleers ' for collection. I mean bus-
