Jasper Pet Adoption Fair
set for this Saturday
Your local animal rescue volun
teer organization, Pickens Animal
Rescue, will be holding their April
pet adoption on April 24th.
The adoption will be held in the
parking area of Town & Country
Pet Mart on North Main Street in
Jasper from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. Our
volunteers will also be grilling ham
burgers and hot dogs to sell with
chips and drinks! Come out and
support your rescue group and help
us raise some much needed funding
while enjoying a delicious lunch!
There are many wonderful dogs
and cats available for adoption
including puppies and adult dogs
and cats.
The adoption fee of $75 covers
the cost for the health care that has
already been provided for these
pets. All pets have been
spayed/neutered prior to the adop
tion, received age appropriate vac
cines and are on monthly flea/tick
control.
If you are interested in bringing
a stray dog or cat to the Jasper Pet
Adoption, we ask that you contact
our Help Line prior to the adoption
day and leave us your name and
phone number. One of our volun
teers will contact you to find our
more information about your pet to
and explain how the adoption
process works.
Only healthy pets will be
allowed into the parking area. We
cannot take the risk of spreading
contagious diseases like mange,
Parvovirus or other infections to the
healthy pets that will be attending
the adoption.
If you bring a stray into the
adoption area, we ask that you bring
a leash or other type of containment
for them and plan to stay with them
throughout the adoption.
Our website shows photos and
brief description of all the pets cur
rently in our foster care network.
