Cumming, Ga. 30040, dated May 5, 2003
and recorded May 16, 2003, in Deed Book
517, Pages 215-218, Pickens County Georgia
Deed Records, there will be sold at public
outcry before the Pickens County Courthouse
door in Jasper, Ga. by Crescent Bank & Trust
Co. as agent-in-fact for Raymond L. Barker, III
during the legal hours of sale on the first
Tuesday in May 2004 to the highest and best
bidder for cash the following described
property, to-wit:
All that tract or parcel of land lying and
being in Land Lot 298 of the 5th District and
2nd Section of Pickens County, Georgia, and
being Lots 1545 and 1546, as per plat of a
portion of Oglethorpe Mountain Section, Bent
Tree, by W.N. Higgs, RLS, dated Oct. 16,
1970, and recorded in Plat Book D, Page 232,
Pickens County, Georgia Records. Said plat
of survey is incorporated herein and made a
part hereof by reference thereto.
Said property will be sold subject to any
and all liens, restrictions, assessments and
delinquent taxes of record, as well as the Note
and Deed to Secure Debt from Raymond L.
Barker, III in favor of Crescent Bank & Trust
Co., dated May 5, 2003 and recorded May 16,

The debt secured by said Deed to Secure
Debt being in default and the holder having
declared the balance of the indebtedness due,

Notice is hereby given of a hearing to be
held at 6 p.m. April 21, 2004 at Jasper City
Hall before the Planning Commission of the
City of Jasper, Ga. The purpose of the hearing
is to discuss a request by the owners, Ronnie
Ray and Larry Pauley, to have parcel 043B-
101 of 0.78 cumulative acres annexed into the
City of Jasper as Commercial 2 (C-2). The
property has a 911 address of 116 Old Tate
