the Spirit of God says, ‘Jesus be
cursed,’ and no one can say, ‘Jesus
is Lord,’ except by the Holy Spirit.”

Our Faith and Transforming Our
Lives In A Reformed Church will

There are many special occasions
in our life but none more special
that celebrating Mother’s Day.
Especially if you are lucky enough
to have your mother still here with
you. We go through many phases in
our lives and a good mother stands
by in all of those times. I have a
love for my mother that is hard to
explain. She has always been there
for me and now I feel privileged to
be able to stand by her and give her
back some of the support that she
has always given me. Jesus had a
special love for His mother Mary.
He taught us about loving these spe
cial women. Please show your
mother this love not just on one day
but all the days of her life.
We had a great time on Saturday
with our Mother/Daughter Tea.
Everyone was dressed up and it was
great to see so many share in this
fun time.
There are only a few more
Wednesday evenings of Bible Study
before we take a summer break.
But, the day study will continue
each Wednesday at 11. Remember
to call Pat Jinks for location.
Our choir works very hard and
would like to have you join them in
singing. They practice each Tuesday
at 7 p.m. Please also take time to
welcome our new Youth Director,
Megan Abrams. She will be work
ing with our youth this summer
while on break from college.
Graduation is near and we have a
couple of graduates in our church.
These young people have worked
hard and deserve our congratulation.
Make church attendance and sup
port a part of your life. We have
services each Sunday at 8:30 and
11. Sunday School is at 9:45. Don’t
be a pew potato. Join in and see
how much fun you can have by hav
ing a loving and working relation
ship with God. If our church can
serve you please contact Rev. Parker
Benson at 770-735-2770.

"Oh, no! I can't see those feet. Am I an orphan in this strange
'people-world'? Where are those feet? My mama warned me to
pay attention. I hope the feet find me."
Even though this little ball of fur is so tiny, she is most familiar
with her master's feet. Yet, when she is most lonely, she cries for
him and he lifts her up and she looks into loving eyes that smile at
her warmly. Though once again placed upon the ground, the
warmth remains.
Each day, one might say that we, too, sit at the feet of our
Master. As we travel from task to task each day, we may lose track
of the Master. Yet God watches over us, and when we cry to Him
we are lifted up and we feel the warmth and the love that can only
come from our Heavenly Father.
Do you need to experience God's loving care? Visit your chosen
place of worship this week. Worship at the feet of the Master. He
will lift you up.
