Summer Fun Club winds up
at Boys and Girls Club
By Dan Huth

working parents no longer have
schools to occupy their chil

newspaper article.
What's more, many of those
children depend upon schools to
provide a nutritious breakfast
and lunch as well.
So for many children, sum
mer vacation doesn't mean a
carefree vacation, it means
hunger, coupled with danger
ous, unsupervised free time. But
not in North Georgia.
Once again this year, the

Club Director Cathy Butler
said, "I live here. I know the
need. And I'm so excited that
we could bring this kind of
wholesome environment to the
youth of the area.!"
Along with Education

Recreation Director Chris

student assistants she kept the

games, sports, learning activi

some snacks.
Each day had a particular

There’s a new guy in town — A Guy With A Wrench was created
because we got tired of hearing about people being ripped off by auto repair shops. Jeff is
our senior technician and has been repairing cars since his late teens. He was involved in
several programs that are used today to diagnosis problems with autos using computer tech
nology. Due to his knowledge, we are using the latest in technological advancement when
taking care of your vehicle.
At A Guy With A Wrench, we are proud to say that we will repair your vehicle and guar
antee our work on most vehicles for one year or 12,000 miles. Pickens County Chamber of
Commerce and the City of Jasper welcome A Guy With A Wrench to our community.
