of Transportation has ap
proved the Location and De
sign of this project.
The date of location and
design approval is: Novem
ber 9, 2020
This project proposes the re
placement of the existing
two-lane bridge in Pickens
County at CR 85/ Fairview
Road crossing Polecat
Branch at its current location.
The proposed bridge would
provide two ten-feet lanes,
one in each direction. The
total project length is approxi
mately 0.1 miles long and lo
cated in Land Lots 190 & 191
approximately 3 miles west of
Tate, Georgia. A1.4-mile off
site detour is proposed to
maintain traffic during con
struction which is anticipated
to be about 12 months long.

available for public inspection
