Monday, March 22, the
North Georgia Health Dis
trict transferred registration
for COVID-19 vaccination
appointments to the Georgia
Department of Public Health
(DPH) online portal. Individ
uals seeking an appointment
at public health COVID-19
Vaccine Clinics in Cherokee,
F annin, Gilmer, Murray,
Pickens or Whitfield counties
must register at https://gta-
vras.powerappsportals.us/.

COVID-19 Vaccination Appointment
To schedule an appointment, please fill in the required questionnaire so that we can gather information regarding your readiness for
COVID-19 vaccination, and offer guidance and instruction to ensure your safety. You will need to provide the following details:
Medical history

Current/past ailments and
allergy information

infections, testing or

Over 100,000 COVID-19
vaccinations have been pro
vided by public health in the
North Georgia Health Dis
trict and the county health de
partments are accepting new
appointments as vaccine sup
plies are increasingly avail
able. People who are
currently eligible in Georgia
for COVID-19 vaccine are
urged to arrange a vaccina
tion appointment right away.
Those who are
eligible:
Healthcare workers
(physicians, nurses, labora
tory technicians, EMS per
sonnel, environmental
services, etc.)
Residents and staff of
long-term care facilities
Adults aged 65+ and their
caregivers*
Law enforcement, fire
fighters, first responders
Educators and staff (Pre-
K, K-12, DECAL licensed or
exempt childcare programs)
Adults with intellectual and
developmental disabilities
and their caregivers*
Intellectual Disability is a
disability characterized by
significant limitations in both
intellectual functioning and
in adaptive behavior, which
covers many everyday social
and practical skills. This dis
ability originates before the
age of 22

ity is a physical or mental im
pairment that happens before
the age of 22, is expected to
last a lifetime, and impacts at

Free English classes continue on Zoom
The 2020-2021 school year for English classes is
continuing to meet safely during the Covid-19 pan
demic. We will not returned to the recreation center
until all are vaccinated, wearing masks, and distanc
ing. When the risk lowers and it is deemed safe, we
will return to in person classes.
We have a time change. Monday Zoom class
meets from 4 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. each week. The Thurs
day class continues to meet from 8 p.m.- 9:30 p.m.

day.
