It is with great sorrow that
the family of Peggy Barnes

Letters totfa Editor
To the Editor:
I don't know for sure
about any other people that
live in this great city, county
and country, but I have to be
lieve there are other people
out here that are feeling the
same way I am. I'm totally
exhausted from all the poli
tics and division. Every week
there are people writing let
ters to either bash the De
mocrats or Republicans.
There seem to be few if any
real ideas or statements that
could serve to help bring us
together to once again move
our country and people for
ward.
I know the Republicans
and Democrats have different
ideas on how government
should function. It's always
been that way, but how did
we get to this them and us
philosophy? How did we get
to the point of one party truly
vilifying the other party and
even equating them with
being evil? I've lived long
enough to remember our par
ties working together to
move our country forward.
Neither party got everything
they wanted, but the country
moved forward. If we don't
find some way to change the
thinking of our people and
our elected officials, I really
believe our country will truly
be on a path of decline that
we may not recover from.
God help and bless us all.

To the Editor:
Wing Nuts
Most bolts and nuts have
six sides on them for
wrenches so you can tighten
them down good and tight. If
you want a fastener that you
can do with you fingers you
can use a "wing nut" but
wing nuts come loose easily
and you cannot count on
them when you need them.
We have some wing nuts like
that in congress.
We, the people, get to
send a wide variety to con
gress. Conservatives, liber
als, billionaires, lawyers,
plumbers, store keepers, pro
fessors, actors, generals,
scoundrels—you name it and
we have sent them to repre
sent us.
We also have sent goof
balls, crazies, nincompoops,
and wing nuts. Some wing
nuts believe, or at least say
they believe, in the theory
that the world is run by secret
organizations that conspire to
do evil. Wing nut conspirato
rial types are out loose
among us and always have
been.
Both political parties are
"eat up" with wing nuts. In
the past the body politic just
shrugged its shoulders and
tried to pretend the wing nuts
were not around. But today
the Progressive party, which
has plenty of its own doubtful
characters that meet the defi
nition of wing nuts, want to
throw out the conservative
wing nuts because they must
think that only they liberals
should have goofballs.
If areas of the country
want to send wing nuts to
congress I say let them. Wing
Nuts need to be represented
too. Freedom to say crazy
things and to think crazy
thoughts is one of the rights
of a free people.
Wing Nuts kind of liven
up the place as long as they
are not given real power. But
that is the risk of a represen
tative democracy. Only the
voters should get to remove
Wing Nuts.

To the Editor:
Tyranny over Georgia and
theft of home rule and local
government by extortion
Powerful interstate mer
chants and organizations out
side the state and inside seek
to tell Georgia governors and
legislatures how to vote by
threatening to withdraw ball
games or movie making from
the state. Sometimes they get
a judge to impose evils and
vices on a state. The non-
elected heads of massive em
pire companies seek to act as
a federal government over
single states and dictate to
them the will of the heads of
the groups. These unconstitu
tional groups defend nobody
in the state. They just deliver
services and goods for
money. The Southern States
have long derailed non-
Christian and non-American
legislation and have been a
great blocker of pagan and
heathen political groups that
do harm to people with vices
and immoral legislation. The
anti-Georgia aggressor forces
help to kill hundreds of Geor
gia children every year by al
cohol and thousands every
year by abortion draining
treasure, lives, and popula
tion from the state just to get
money and political power.
The president, attorney
general, every judge, and
lawyer in the nation know the
threats made to Georgia offi
cials by sports and movie of
ficials to not do business in
the state if the governor and
legislature do not bow to the
companies' will is extortion-
-a crime—and an attack on the
constitutional sovereignty of
the state by enormous outside
non-constitutional power
groups. It is part of the drive
by heads of the democrat
party to impose a one party
dictatorship on the state and
on the nation to remove all
opposition to the democrat
party and its international
government friends.
Extortion is a crime and
the sports teams and inter
state companies seeking to be
unelected dictators over
Georgia should be properly
punished by the attorney gen
eral of the United States, con
gress, and the Interstate
Commerce Commission.
Every state will become en
slaved to the octopus with its
tentacles and foreign powers
through them if the states do
not act together and rise
above the political parties
and the interstate companies
that seek to ride over single
states and all 50 of them to
impose their unrighteous will
and kill individuals for
money.
Extortion is a crime and
terrorism to impose fear, ex
tortion to impose fear, and an
overthrow of American Con
stitutional democracy, Amer
ican government, and the
rights of citizens to choose
their laws by votes.

To the Editor:
Hello Pickens County. My
name is Roger Waller and I
am currently serving 20 years
in prison. I am writing this
letter to ask the residents of
Pickens County for forgive
ness for the crimes I commit
ted back in 2016.
It has been a long five
years inside the system but
I’ve gotten by. Well I hit rock
bottom back in February of
this year and for the first tie
ever I really broke down and
prayed from my heart. I first
asked for Him to forgive me
and He did. Then I asked for
the Holy Spirit and I re
ceived. Then through all the
tears and anguish I prayed for
him to allow me to find my
son (which I have never met
before) and to please let me
be a part of his life. Since
then he has not only revealed
his whereabouts but I am
able to look at pictures of him
now that he is 5 years old.
Anyways, what I am get
ting at is this, just when I
thought all hope was lost,
God stepped in and sat me
down and redirected my path
and showed me what I have
to look forward to once I go
home and that is a beautiful
baby boy and a wonderful,
loving wife.
Thank you Pickens
County for reading this and
may God bless each and
every one of yall.
Your friend,
Roger Waller
