How To Take
Better Hunting &
Fishing Photos
Photos of days fishing,
hunting, camping, hiking are
treasures and grow in value
with every viewing. Trouble
is that most folks do not
know how to make the best
of it. Here are a few notes
and examples of both poorly
shot and properly taken pho
tos.
Are the better ones more
valuable? Well no, but they
are surely more seeable. If
the photo quality and posi
tioning causes you to ask,
“Who’s that in the picture?”,
well, you could have done
better.
Ok, here we go.
• Get Closer. I doubt the
photo is a landscape shot.
It’s a photo of a person or
persons, so get close.
• It’s the Face that
counts, not the cap. The
face should not be covered in
shadow. Use the sun or some
type of reflector or simply re
move or move your cap or
hat back on your head to re
veal the face. If you keep on
your cap, make sure you can
see the face anyway. You face
should be centered in the top
half of the photo and the bot
tom of the picture should stop
at your belt line.
How about a photo of
your deer? Wipe off the
blood from his nose and

leans. It’s hard to go wrong when you get the combination

mouth, stick the poor critter’s
tongue back into his mouth
and position yourself behind
the antlers.
How about a bass or
trout? Hold it in front of
your upper body, not your
face. Did I mention to GET
CLOSE? Keep that in mind.

reins.
Now, the Hawks face
third seeded Milwaukee in
the conference finals. Yet
again, Atlanta is considered
a huge underdog in this se
ries as well. The Bucks
could finally be the Water
loo for the Hawks with such
a deep and talented roster
which is led by two-time
NBA MVP Giannis Ante-
tokounmpo and coached by
former Atlanta head coach
Mike Budenholzer.
In their opening round
series, I suspected that the
Hawks were a better team
than New York. Subse
quently, with injuries and
roster deficiencies, the
76ers seemed vulnerable in
the second round series.
However, that optimism di
minishes where Milwaukee
is concerned. The Bucks are
a seasoned team.
Does Atlanta have
enough weapons to upset
another favorite?
Is it possible that this
young team with essentially
zero playoff experience can
best Milwaukee which has
three consecutive under
achieving disappointments
in the playoffs?
We shall see.
