A mother asked for help in
locating her missing son. She
told a Pickens Sheriff’s office
deputy that her son had run
away multiple times in the
past with the most recent
time being last week. She
also told the deputy that her
son was on probation and
wearing an ankle monitor.
Deputies attempted to find
him by using the location
provided by his ankle moni

His ankle monitor showed
him to be in Cherokee
County. His probation officer
and Cherokee Sheriff’s Of

young man was not immedi

To the Editor:
A12 year-old girl was vis
iting for Christmas. I asked
her what she thought about
the boy who decided to be a
girl and compete in swim
ming against girls and is win
ning all the races and setting
new records. With little hesi
tation, she said, "Well, it's not
fair, but I have a solution.
People who decide to be an
other gender should compete
in a separate division against
others who have made this
choice."
Wow. That makes sense.
The only people who
would complain about that
solution would be politicians
and activists who are trying
to make political capital by
using trans gender people as
an equity tool. Well, of
course, it would also anger
people who "changed gen
ders" so they could win all
the events and set records.
Too bad.
It's a shame the elite pols
and activists don't listen to 12
year-olds.

To the Editor:
A few years ago, a lobby
ist for a liquor store and other
liquor outlets killing through
out the state strutted into the
halls of the Georgia State
Legislature in Atlanta and
barked with the authority that
only Satan and a drunk from
anywhere would say: "Get
with the program and do like
the rest of the nation is doing,
legalize that liquor."
Unfortunately the liquor
worshippers in the Georgia
legislature and did what the
stranger ordered. They legal
ized the liquor that all knew
was killing and addicting
children throughout the state.
None loved the people they
were to guard with their
lives. They kept the money
they were paid but did not de
fend every life but surren
dered each life to the lushes,
winos, habitual drunks, and
their suppliers throughout the
state.
The miserable miscreants
worship the liquor and the
money as gods. Anybody
with a big wealthy group and
great numbers with cameras
and a judge can send down,
orders to Georgia's governors
and legislatures and tell them
to kill with alcohol, abortion,
or any vice and the Gover
nors and legislatures will kill
anybody in Georgia.
The people have fallen to
the lowest level in the state
because they can not love
their own children and will
kill them as they greedily
play lotteries and make them
selves drunken. The people
can not find anybody better
than themselves so they put
the drunks, gamblers, and lot
tery players over us all will
kill us because there are no
good people among us.
This horrible scenario has
allowed traitors to the nation
among us to demand the
USA surrender her sover
eignty to a world govern
ment.
Agents of foreign powers
join the world government
people to use the slavery his
tory of the state as a stepping
stone to overthrow all Amer
ican history to weaken the
nation and enslave her to the
world and all its tyrants and
dictators.
We must arise from our
stupor, our Rip Van Winkle
sleep, our deplorable addic
tions, and bring all govern
ments and people back to
defending each life in the na
tion to the point that no man,
woman, or demon will ever
approach the state and local
governments and demand
they give them an evil that
kills the people.
Never again, never again,
never again will anybody
dare to march in and demand
we kill each other for them.

house to make sure no one
was still inside hiding. Once
the house was safe, they
spoke with the owner about
what happened. He said he
was woken up in the middle
of the night by someone
standing at his bedroom door
with a flashlight on.
The intruder said, “Don’t
come after me,” and ran
away. The homeowner said
he then heard a pop from
what he thought sounded like
a gun. The deputies went
back inside the home to in
vestigate, they discovered a
flashlight on the floor, a bul
let casing, a small hole in a
wall that could have come
from a bullet, a broken
handrail on the staircase, and
some doors opened that were
supposed to be closed, ac
cording to the homeowner.
Nothing seemed to be miss

claimed the bullet casing was

Fight between mother and
daughter becomes violent
A mother called 911 be
cause of a fight with her
daughter who was diagnosed
with a mood disorder. When
they arrived, the mother
claimed the fight was be
cause the daughter wanted to
open Christmas presents
early and the mother told her

Man acting suspiciously is
arrested for DUI
While in a gas station, a
deputy saw a man starting to
come into the store. The
deputy and the man made eye
contact and the man turned
around quickly to leave. The
man got into his car and got
on the roadway where he
committed several traffic vi
olations.
Deputies pulled him over,
and he admitted to drinking a
lot of alcoholic drinks before
getting behind the wheel and
he was drinking one while
driving. Deputies also dis
covered a small amount of
marijuana in his car. He was
arrested after failing a sobri

Woman arrested for DUI
needs assistance walking to
patrol car due to intoxica
tion
Deputies were watching
for a possible DUI after a
concerned citizen called 911
about a car failing to main
tain its lane and striking mul
tiple traffic cones in a
construction zone. Deputies
found the car and pulled it
over. When the driver rolled
down the window, the
deputies could smell a strong
odor of alcohol coming from
the driver. The driver then of
fered her debit card as her li
cense and believed the debit
card was her license.
Then she offered her
credit card as her driver’s li
cense. The deputies asked the
driver to get out of her car,
she could not walk without
leaning on her car for sup
port. The driver stumbled
multiple times causing
deputies to have to help her
walk. She was unable to per
form any sobriety tests be
cause the deputies were
worried she would fall and
get hurt.
When deputies asked the
driver how many alcoholic
drinks she had that night, she
said she had only drank two
drinks. She was arrested and
taken to the Adult Detention
Center for DUI.

Two individuals are ar
rested and methampheta-
mine located after
apartment search
Pickens Sheriff’s Office
deputies and CMANS
(Cherokee Multiple Agency
Narcotics Squad) agents
were asked to help probation
officers with a legal search of
a probationer’s home. They
found several glass pipes
containing methampheta-
mine, some small bags of
methamphetamine, and other
drug paraphernalia in the
home. A man and a woman,
who were on probation, were
both arrested and taken to the
Adult Detention Center.
Man approaches deputies
and claims men are at
tempting to hurt him at his
house
A man approached a Pick
ens Sheriff’s Office deputy
and said four or five men
armed with pipes and bars
threatened to hurt him over
some money. While speaking
with the man, deputies no
ticed he was behaving
strangely and he kept chang
ing his story. The man said he
didn’t want to make a report
about the incident. He asked
the deputy if he could get a
ride back to his house be
cause his car broke down
across the road. Once the
man and deputy arrived at his
house, the man frantically
warned the deputy to “get
ready, they’re in the yard.”
However, no one was in
the front yard. The deputy
checked all around the house,
and still did not find anyone.
The man kept on behaving
very strangely. The deputy
made contact with some of
the man’s family members
who were staying at the
house. No one knew of a rea

so odd. The deputy offered to
help the man get medical
treatment, but he refused.
The deputy told the family
members what resources
were available for medical
and mental health treatments.
Man threatens to kill ex
girlfriend
A woman reported harass
ing phone calls she got from
her ex-boyfriend. She said

began calling her and threat
ening to kill her. The woman
did not want to press charges.
Deputies told her how to start
the process of getting a tem
porary restraining order
against her ex-boyfriend.
Woman claims to find sus
picious man standing on
her front porch
A woman said she heard a
noise like someone trying to
open her front door. She
looked out a window and saw
a “dirty, thin built, white man
approximately 30 years of
age” trying to open the door.
She said she held up a gun
in the window so the man
could see it and the man left.
Deputies did not find the man
in the area. She said there
have been a lot of suspicious
people walking through the
woods near her home re
cently. None of the surround
ing neighbors said they knew
of any suspicious activity in
the area. Deputies increased
patrols in the area.
