PHS swim has strong
showing in Dalton
In the Women’s Breaststroke event, we had Nicole
Chuong taking second place and Ellie Boswell taking 4th
place.
On the men’s side of competition, the 200 Freestyle relay
teams took second and 5th place in the 50 Freestyle event,
Brody Leake finished 4th, with Parker Davis finishing 7th.
The 100 Freestyle event went to Braden Kimbrell, with Read
Fernandez, Caton Ellison and Ryan Johnson all finishing in
the top 10. The 500 yard Freestyle had Joshua Lanford fin
ishing second for the boys. The 100 yard Breaststroke had 4
Dragons swimmers finishing in the top 6. Second, third and
4th places were taken by Brody Leake, Parker Davis and
Read Fernandez. 6th place was taken by Joshua Lanford.
The final event, the 400 yard Freestyle relay had Pickens
men taking first place.
The Dragons travel to Calhoun on January 14 and 15 for
the Northwest Georgia Championships and then to Dalton
on Jan 21 and 22 for Regional Championships.
