Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at
which time the Bids received
will be publicly opened and
read. No submitted bid may be
withdrawn after the scheduled
closing time for receipt of bids
for a period of ninety (90) days.
The Project consists of con
struction of:
Modifications to existing grit
structure, one aeration basin,
modifications to existing aera
tion basin (Addition A-1), two
final clarifiers, modifications to
existing filters, new chlorine
contact chamber, modifications
to chemical feed system,
sludge holding tank, modifica
tions to existing pump stations,
an effluent pump station, and
modifications to existing control
building, all complete with ap
purtenances.
Time allotted for construc
tion is 480 consecutive calen
dar days for substantial
completion and 540 days for
final completion.
Bids will be received for a sin
gle prime Contract. Bids shall
be on a lump sum and unit
price basis, with additive alter
nate bid items as indicated in
the Bid Form. Proposals for the
complete work shall be made
on the proposal form provided
and shall contain prices in
words and figures for the work
bid on.
All Bidders must have a
State of Georgia Utility Con
tractors License and must em
ploy a state “Utility Manager”
certificate holder who will have
oversight of all the work.
