the Water Pollution Control
Plant for the City of Jasper,
Georgia April 2021 will be re
ceived, by the City of Jasper,
Georgia, at City Hall, 200
Burnt Mountain Road, Jasper,
Georgia 30143, until 2:00
p.m. local time on Tuesday,
May 17, 2022, at which time
the Bids received will be pub
licly opened and read. No
submitted bid may be with
drawn after the scheduled
closing time for receipt of bids
for a period of ninety (90)
days. The Project consists of
construction of:
Modifications to existing
grit structure, one aeration
basin, modifications to exist
ing aeration basin (Addition
A-1), two final clarifiers, modi
fications to existing filters,
new chlorine contact cham
ber, modifications to chemical
feed system, sludge holding
tank, modifications to existing
pump stations, an effluent
pump station, and modifica
tions to existing control build
ing, all complete with
appurtenances.
Time allotted for construc
tion is 480 consecutive calen
dar days for substantial
completion and 540 days for
final completion.
Bids will be received for a sin
gle prime Contract. Bids shall
be on a lump sum and unit
price basis, with additive al
ternate bid items as indicated
in the Bid Form. Proposals for
the complete work shall be
made on the proposal form
provided and shall contain
prices in words and figures
for the work bid on.
All Bidders must have a
State of Georgia Utility Con
tractors License and must
employ a state “Utility Man
ager” certificate holder who
