PICKENS ANIMAL RESCUE
Our pretty girl Bailey is
looking for her furever
home.She was
actually born at the
Ranch April 1,2018
then adopted as a pup
3 months later.
Unfortunately she had
to be returned to the
Ranch this year
because her family
lost their home. This
sweet girl loves going
for walks, playing with
toys, and gets along
great with other dogs. Bailey has lived in a home
with children and other dogs, but definitely does
not like cats! The funniest thing about her is the
way she attacks water from a hose! Make an
appointment to meet Bailey today.

My name is
Bethsadia
Fernandez, and I
am seeking
your vote on
Nov. 7, 2023, for
the Post 5 City
Council Seat for the
City of Jasper.
Beginning August 1, 2023, the City of Jasper is no
longer offering commercial sanitation service, other
than to the businesses in the immediate Downtown
area. The City of Jasper’s sanitation service partner,
Waste Pro, has taken over the commercial sanitation
accounts.
August 1, 2022, the City of Jasper’s residential
sanitation service was turned over to Waste Pro.
What will August 1, 2024 hold? Another service taken
away from the city? Our water department being sold
out?...Another building block, taken away to jeopardize
the future of our beautiful city? I will not stand for that!!
WE NEED A CHANGE!
Why are we paying for an outside waste management
service to provide a service to our city, instead of
having our own boots on the ground & providing jobs
and lower costs to our city businesses and residents?
As your city council board member, I will work
diligently to restore the city's sanitation service and
keep it “in house,” to keep our prices lower, to provide
jobs & to keep your tax dollars inside the city limits.
