some time past Mr. fV. T Kelvey, a
farmer residing near Salt Springs, in
this county, has becu temibled with
eome one stealing corn from his crib.
Saturday night he pot a loaded guu in
bis crib, to arranged that opening the
door would cause it to fire. Forgetful

the thief, he went to the crib Sunday

TWO MEN ARRESTED.
Albany N. Y., .'larch 2—Two me n,
who appeared to be acting suspicious¬
ly, in the neighborhood of the Towner
mu Union, wher** Cleveland lives, were
ai rested this morning at 11 o’clock by
'Detectives Dyer and Morris, by order
of the cheif of oolice, aud taken to the
police station;' Here they wore identi¬
fied by Col. Dwigh/ Lawrence as two
detectives ua.oed Thomas Craig and

They refused to tell their buaiuess to
