Stephens left LC for
Ware County where he
spent five years. He
just finished his
second season
at McEachern.
His record since
leaving Lamar
is 59-25 and his
teams have made
the playoffs ev

COV1D helped
get him there with a 4-7
record this past season.
Jamie Abrams, a
Stephens assistant, took
over after Stephens
departed and served two
years as head coach.
He went 15-7-1. Abrams
was named head coach
at Cedartown last year
and took that team to the
quarterfinal round of the
Class AAAA playoffs this
past season, finishing
with an 8-3 record.
Bryan Love
held the top job
at LC for one
season in 2016.
He went 6-5.
Since leaving, he
has led teams
at Woodland for
two years and
Wheeler for two
years, compiling a 14-26
record with one playoff
loss.
Love was followed
by John Flath, who also
spent two years lead
ing the Trojans. Flath
stepped down after going
