On Jan. 15, Dep. Patrick Saunders was dispatched to a home at 128 Lamar County Line Road regarding an unruly juvenile female who had damaged property. The juvenile had struck her boyfriend in the face dur ing an altercation. On Jan. 16, Lt. Michael Newman met with a man who had two Amazon orders delivered to the wrong address. The victim had photographic evidence for investigators. On Jan. 16, Dep. Newman was dispatched to the intersection of High Falls Road and Van Mar Blvd. where a man hit a pothole, flattening two of his tires. On Jan. 17, Dep. Justyn Weaver was dispatched to 482 Mckenzie Road regarding damage to property. POLICE REPORT Between Tuesday, January 12 and Monday, Janu ary 25 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests: Robert Wynn, 57, 1459 Eisenhower Pkwy., Macon, failure to maintain lane, striking a fixed object, ex pired tag and DU1; Quanesia Walker, 23, 305 W. Anderson St., Ogletho rpe, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of MDMA con trolled substance and failure to maintain lane; Antonio Little, 25, 138 Fallin St., Thomaston, theft by taking; Achaia Holmes, 21, 912 Bethel St., Thomaston, theft by taking. There were 454 calls for service including: one animal complaint, 232 security checks, five thefts, five entering an auto, one burglary, 13 domestics, 40 foot patrols, 22 suspicious persons/vehicles, three speed ing, seven accidents; two intoxicated pedestrians, one hit and run, five escorts, 29 alarms, five fires, six damage to property and one harassing phone call. They issued 34 citations including: two possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, five expired tags, two no license on person, one failure to maintain insurance, four speeding, one running red light, one handsfree law, one striking fixed object, one reckless driving and one DU1. ing it off track. On Jan. 17, Dep. Destiny Valenzuela met with a woman at the sheriff’s office regarding an ongoing child custody dispute. On Jan. 19, Dep. Bossie Davis worked a possible child molestation, meeting with a woman at a home in north Lamar County. She said a six-year-old juvenile told her of a possible assault at their previous home on Sunset Drive Extension in Spalding County. Investi gators and DFCS personnel were called in. On Jan. 18, Dep. Davis worked the latest install ment of an ongoing domestic dispute at a home on Burnette Road which had upset two juveniles living there. Each of the adults refused to leave the home for the night so they were asked to stay away from each other in the home. Davis counseled one of the juveniles, encouraging him to call 911 if things escalated again and stay on the line with the operator until deputies arrived.
