®jje litralti <©a?£tt£ Tuesday, March 9,2021 3B LCSO INCIDENT REPORT SUMMARY Compiled from a summary of incident reports completed by Lamar deputies during the period Feb ruary 24-March 2, 2021. On Feb. 24, Lt. Shane Moore was dispatched to 156 Five Points Road where a man observed damage to his 2018 GMC Sierra pickup truck and wanted a report filed. On Feb. 25, Dep. William Holt was dispatched to a home at 222 Brinkley Road where a man watched a female in a white car run over his mailbox and drive off as if nothing happened. The suspect vehicle bore the tag BUU 4413. On Feb. 27, Lt. Moore located an orange 2001 Chevy Camaro abandoned and up on blocks in front of Pleasant Hill Church on High Falls Road. The vehicle was registered to a woman of Walton County. She was contacted and reported the car belonged to her son. A broken cell phone was found on the windshield of the Camaro. The woman was unable to contact her son. On Feb. 27, Lt. Moore along with EMS were dis patched to Hwy. 36 East near Morgan Dairy Road regarding an incoherent woman in the ditch. She had a dog on a leash attached to her and the dog would not let anyone near the woman. Animal control was summoned and corralled the dog. The woman was identified and family members reported she was bi-polar and off her medication and may have ingested some other substance. Spalding County deputies had found her walking earlier near Orchard Hill and summoned family who picked her up. An altercation ensued and she got out of the car with her dog and resumed walking. The woman was taken to Spalding Regional Medi cal Center. The dog was returned to their home. On Feb. 28, at 6:45 a.m., Lt. Moore was patrolling Yatesville Road near McCollum Road when he was nearly hit by a vehicle which swerved to avoid an abandoned vehicle on the side of the road. The aban doned car had open alcoholic beverage containers inside. The registration was invalid. The tag came back to a 1998 Pontiac Grand Am registered to Johnny Smith of Barnesville. The car was towed. On March 2, Sgt. Wayman Henson was dispatched to the intersection of Hwy. 18 West and Aldora Street regarding a hit and run. A man reported a green 1970s model Ford F-150 had pulled out of Aldora Street into his path and forced him off the road and damaging a mirror. The truck driver fled. Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies answered 224 calls. Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 34 911 calls. Lamar County Fire Fighters responded to 28 911 calls. Barnesville Fire Fighters responded to four 911 calls. Community Ambulance Service responded to 60 calls. There were 10 accidents. Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies served 13 state warrants. Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies issued 21 traffic citations. POLICE REPORT Between Monday, March 1 and Monday, March 8 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests: Yonieca Wilson, 36, 206 Chaffin St., Barnesville, disorderly; Jamichael Jones, 31, 118 Parkview Dr., Barnesville, disorderly and two counts obstruction; Randal Rothbauer, 61, 225 Mitchell Dr., Barnesville, harassing phone calls. There were 199 calls for service including: one fight, 69 security checks, three thefts, one prowler, one burglary, 10 domestics, 16 suspicious persons/ vehicles, six speeding, six accidents, two intoxicated drivers, one intoxicated pedestrian, one hit and run, nine alarms, one damage to property and one harass ing phone call.
