While on parole he will live with his mother, Recia Flynt, at 215 Jenkins Street in Barnesville. Ronnie Glenn Moore, who was convicted of fleeing and attempting to elude law enforcement in Lamar County in 2019, was paroled March 4. Marriages: Dalton Ray Norris married Jordyn Brooke Stile on March 5, 2021. Divorces: Sabrina Sanders vs. Charles Sanders Deaths: Sandra Diane Bryan, 71, died Jan. 24, 2021. Betty Ann Jones, 88, died Feb. 26, 2021. Kendall Way Bessant, 73, died March 2, 2021. On March 3, Dep. Ashley Johnson met with a man who lost his wallet while assisting victims of a traffic accident on Hwy. 36 East near Morgan Dairy Road. On March 4, Dep. Patrick Saunders was patrolling Hwy. 36 East when he spotted a red Dodge Charger. A computer check revealed the registration on the car was suspended. Before he could stop it, the driver evaded him with a quick turn onto Chappell Mil Road. Saunders proceeded to Van Mar Blvd. and quickly spotted the Charger again. He attempted to stop the car which finally turned into the Waffle House park ing lot near 1-75 and made a quick U-turn. The driver, 29-year-old Dazzmine Latimore, said he did not stop earlier because he had been smoking marijuana. Saunders spotted a brown leather bag on the ground near where the driver made the U-turn. Latimore denied it was his. The bag contained the keys to the Charger. It also contained two bags of marijuana, 11 sealed packets of THC oil and a Glock 19 handgun which had been stolen in Wilcox County. While patting down Latimore, Saunders located ap proximately $3,000 in cash. The cash was seized. The car was impounded. Latimore went to jail charged with suspended registration, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, theft by receiving sto len property, tampering with evidence and littering. On March 5, Dep. Bossie Davis met with a man on Midway Road. A fence on the property had been cut and access to wrecked cars gained. Nothing could be identified as missing. Extra patrols were ordered for the area. On March 5, Dep. Davis worked a child custody issue at a home on Cauthen Road. On March 5, Dep. William Holt worked the case of an unruly 13-year-old female at a home at Lamar County Line Road. The mother of the child was found hiding in a shed and reported she urinates in a sink to avoid going to the bathroom located next to her daughter’s room and being in the presence of the teen whom she said randomly destroys property and makes threats. On March 6, Dep. Holt worked a disturbance among two adult siblings, a male and a female, at a home at 226 Steele Road. The mother of the combat ants was sick.
