DEATH NOTICE Obituaries are published as received Pamela Collins Pamela Jeanine Collins of Americus, Georgia, daughter of the late Benjamin (Bennie) Alton Col lins and Jeanelle Keadle Collins, passed away of a heart attack on March 4, 2021 at the age of 69 at the Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, Georgia. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Benjamin Keith Collins of Americus, Georgia and sister, Mel ba Rita Medler of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Those who knew Pamela well were aware of her love for her dog, Jada, who was by her side 24 hours a day. Pam is survived by her sister, Janis Olivia Collins Freeman, her niece, Paige Olivia Freeman, of Los An geles, CA, and her nephews Ronald Westley Medler of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Kevin Winston Medler of Auburn, Alabama. Due to the pandemic, there will not be a service at this time. She is loved and missed by all who knew her. Betty Oliver Mrs. Betty Ruth Oliver, age 91, of Milner, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 at Eternal Hope Hospice. Mrs. Oliver was born on Friday, March 7, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Roy Bloomer Morris and the late Leitha Mae Whittington Morris. Betty is also preceded in death by her husband, John Willard Oliver; son-in-law, Luther E. Bell, Jr. She worked at Carters as a seamstress and she loved going to Rock Springs Church. Betty loved her family, shopping, going to estate and antique sales, her cats, and had a great sense of humor. Betty is survived by her daughter, Denise Oliver Bell (Grady Underwood); son and daughter-in-law, Kerry & Felecia Oliver; grandson, John Dustin Un derwood; granddaughter and husband, Tara Leigh & James Glover; grandson, Kyle Oliver (Amanda Rose); great grandchildren, Gracie Rose and Kyle Oliver. No formal visitation was held at the funeral home, however, a graveside service for Mrs. Betty Oliver was held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery with Dr. Benny Tate officiat ing. BLC-Library basket raffle The Friends of the Barnesville-Lamar County Library will deliver the basket pictured, overflowing with Spring items to the raffle winner drawn at their Saturday, May 1 Used Book Sale.
