On April 21, Lt. Shane Moore responded to Ga. Hwy. 7 near Fellowship Drive regarding a black truck traveling southbound in the northbound lane. He found a black Ford Ranger on the left side of the road with a black male lying underneath it. A tire on the truck was busted from hitting a culvert in the median. When the man rolled out from under the truck, a plastic container fell out of his pocket. He put it back in. Moore could tell the container held mari juana. There was also a rolled joint in the man’s shirt pocket. Wesley J. Malcolm, 73, was cited for posses sion of marijuana. On April 21, just before midnight, Dep. William Holt was patrolling Ga. Hwy. 7 near Five Points Road when he noticed a truck with no tail light cover and followed it. He watched the truck weave over the roadway for a time and stopped it on Atlanta Street. He approached and detected the odor of alcohol. The driver, Thomas Storey, was nervous and first said he had two beers. Holt pointed out he could see two alcohol containers in the car. Storey than began to plead to be let go, noting he was an Army veteran. Storey almost fell when exiting the truck. Lt. Bossie Davis was dispatched to a home on Chappell Mill Road where a woman had let her dogs out in the night to relieve themselves and they were attacked by two large white dogs. One of her dogs was severely injured and had to be eutha nized. She thought the attacking dogs came from across the road but was not sure. A report was filed. On April 22, Dep. Two occupants of the home, Breanna Chambley and Timothy Brooks, said they were watching TV when Jessica Brooks broke the window trying to en ter the house. Chambley armed herself with a 9 mm. handgun and opened the door at which point Jessica Brooks started hitting her. At some point, Chambley fired one round through the ceiling of her porch. Jessica Brooks said her husband was there cheat ing with Chambley. She went to jail charged with criminal trespass and simple assault. On April 26, Sgt. Keith Kendrick was contacted by a parole officer to serve a parole violation warrant on Gregory A. Twymon, 30, at his residence at 243 Midway Road. The parole officer also requested a 4th Amendment waiver search of the home which was fashioned out of a 12 x 24 shed. Accompanied by Sgt. Davis and Dep. Holt, Kend rick and the parole officer went to the home and took Twymon into custody on the front porch. Twymon reported there was a female inside. In a bathroom, Kendrick spotted Dominique L. Cannon naked from the waist down and ordered her to cover herself. Cannon admitted she had marijuana and pointed it out to Kendrick who spotted a bag of meth on the same table. Upon questioning, Cannon said, “What meth?”. Kendrick found two packs of marijuana that appeared to have been ordered online or through a dispensary. Twymon claimed all the drugs in the house were his. In the living room, Kendrick spotted a wallet. Cannon said the wallet and all the money in it were hers. Inside the wallet, Kendrick found a bag of crack cocaine. Twymon was charged with possession of meth and possession of marijuana. Cannon was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of cocaine. On April 26, Sgt. Michael Brayton was patrolling 1-75 northbound when he spotted a vehicle following another too closely. The chase rolled through Tanger Outlet and onto an industrial road. Brayton eventually pitted the sus pect vehicle and ordered the driver out at gunpoint until backup arrived. Two bags of cocaine and a $20 bill containing cocaine were found in a door panel.
