6A Heralti <©a?ette Tuesday, June 1,2021 LCSO INCIDENT REPORT SUMMARY Compiled from a summary of incident reports completed by Lamar deputies during the period May 19-25, 2021. On May 16, Dep. Coleman Conner worked a call about a suspicious vehicle in the area of 676 Chappell Mill Road. A blue Toyota Camry stopped at a home. A woman got out and appeared to be casing a resi dence. On May 21, Dep. Justyn Weaver was dispatched to VFW Road regarding damage to a vehicle. A man reported gravel came off a truck and hit his car. The truck driver denied being the cause of the damage. On May 21, Dep. Weaver was dispatched to a home at Mill Pond Court regarding two unruly juveniles. Two foster siblings, ages 11 and 10, were in the road. They reported they were unhappy in their foster home and wanted to be back with their siblings. One had threatened to harm herself. On May 22, Dep. Weaver was dispatched to a home on Country Kitchen Road where a female reported her ex-boyfriend was harassing her via text and post ing nude photos of her on social media. There was an ongoing child custody issue between the two. Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies answered 99 calls. Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 12 911 calls. Lamar County Fire Fighters responded to 26 911 calls. Barnesville Fire Fighters responded to 3 911 calls. Community Ambulance Service responded to 53 calls. There were 7 accidents. Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies served 5 state warrants. Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies issued 30 traffic citations. POLICE REPORT Between Monday, May 17 and Monday, May 24 the Barnesville Police Department made the following arrests: Kevin Mitchell, 35, 210 Jackson St., Barnesville, disorderly house; Jamorris Cole, 34, 304 Parker Branch Rd., proba tion violation and expired license; Angela Chambers, 58, 101 Ward Dr., Barnesville, DU1 and failure to maintain lane. They answered 126 calls for service including: four fights, 11 security checks, three thefts, one prowler, four welfare checks, 11 domestics, one 911 hangup call, 20 suspicious persons/vehicles, two speeding, 10 accidents, one escort, four alarms, three harassing phone calls and five mental subjects. They issued 12 citations including: one animal leash law, one animal running at large, one expired driver’s license, five speeding, one DUI, one failure to maintain lane, one loud music and one disorderly house.
