POLICE REPORT
Between Monday, September 13 and Monday, Sep
tember 20 the Barnesville Police Department made
the following arrests:
Zion Pate, 20, Barnesville, three counts aggravated
assault, reckless conduct and criminal damage to
property;
Cordelia Slaughter, 23, 108 Kate Ct., Barnesville,
simple battery and disorderly conduct.
They answered 156 calls for services.
They issued 21 citations including: four speeding,
one passing in no passing zone, one no tail lights,
one headlight violation, one operating unauthorized
vehicle with blue lights, five disorderly, three driving
with suspended tag, one loud music, one failure to
maintain insurance, one no insurance, one violation
of license restrictions and one simple battery.

Pardons & Paroles:
Jamel Steele Kender, who was convicted in Lamar
County on one count of trafficking in marijuana in
2019, was paroled Sept. 7. While on parole he will live
with a friend in Decatur.
Paul Foster, who was convicted on three counts
sale and distribution of narcotics and sale and distri
bution of cocaine in Lamar County during the period
1990-1992, was paroled Sept. 14. While on parole, he
will live with his mother, Cecile Foster, at 226 Wash
ington St. in Barnesville.
